TX drive

  • Six force application areas (line contact) for strong power transmission

  • No driving-out effect (cylindrical shape eliminates cam-out effect) for a long bit service life

  • Can be mechanically driven

  • Good torque transmission

Washer head

  • Fewer screws required due to connections being more flush (even if wood is deformed)

  • High tightening and head penetration values

  • High degree of tension resistance

  • Shorter installation times, as no additional washer is required

Under-head reinforcement

  • Optimal tear-off resistance enhances user safety

Partial thread

  • Optimal finish due to tight sealing of the top layer of wood

End mill (friction part)

  • Less friction on the screw shaft minimises tool damage

  • Less power and force required as it functions like a drill bit

  • Lower screw-in resistance

  • Easy to install long screws

Coarse thread

  • Always provides the optimum speed for each screw length

  • The thread geometry enables faster screwing in, saving time during processing

High-quality hardened steel

  • High breaking torque

  • Optimal installation quality

Anti-friction coating

  • Easy to screw in with low screwing resistance, reducing the amount of energy and force required

Cutting point

  • Low splitting forces due to drilling effect

  • Reduced splitting tendency of the wood enables edge connection

  • Chipping of the wood fibres

The timber screw with wafer head is used primarily for wood/wood connections in structural timber construction (e.g. for on-roof rafter insulation, wooden frame construction, roof truss construction, element construction, prefabricated building, staircase construction, etc.).
In damp rooms and outdoors, non-corrosive materials must be used for mounting (DIN 18360, Section 3.1.4.1).
The user is responsible for design considerations.

Installation must be carried out in accordance with the approval certificate!
