In addition to the construction of carports, canopies and pergolas, the post anchor, H shape, is also used primarily for supporting wooden structures such as wind fences or roof supports.
The bottom of the post anchor is poured into the floor for maximum stability. The post is secured in the post support bracket by means of threaded rods/lag bolts with washer and nut or by screwing in with post or wood screws.
