Non-load-bearing masonry, plaster or insulation must be taken into account; these are not considered anchoring substrates.
This information is based on factory tests, it should be considered a general recommendation and must be adapted to the respective materials by local testing. A safety factor must be taken into account. The information does not apply to cases requiring technical approval. It does not constitute approval.
Recommended safety factor: 4x
The metal universal anchor is suitable for securing gas pipes, water pipes, cable and pipe clips in gas concrete, perforated tiles, pumice and concrete in conjunction with a stud screw or wood or chipboard screw.
Cotter-pin mounting
Create the drill hole*
Hammer in the anchor
Secure the component with screw
*The hole diameter depends on the strength of the building material. The harder the substrate, the larger the hole.
In low-strength gas concrete (G2, G4), it is possible to hammer in directly without pre-drilling (8.0 x 38 mm).
Screw length = anchor length + plaster or insulating material thickness + 1 x screw diameter + component thickness
