TX drive

  • Strong power and torque transmission

Small countersunk head with inclined milling pockets in shovel-like arrangement

  • Flush countersinking of the screw head results in a perfect finish when installed

  • Less power and force required due to easy and clean countersinking of the screw head

  • Low surface chipping

  • Real milling effect

Partial thread

  • Optimal finish due to tight sealing of the top layer of wood

End mill (friction part)

  • Less friction on the screw shaft minimises tool damage

  • Less power and force required as it functions like a drill bit

  • Lower screw-in resistance

  • Easy to install long screws

Cutting point

  • Low splitting forces due to drilling effect

  • Reduced splitting tendency of the wood enables edge connection

  • Chipping of the wood fibres

Sharp tip

  • Screw tip (25-30°) enables accurate positioning and extremely fast "biting" of the screw

Anti-friction coating

  • Easy to screw in with low screwing resistance, reducing the amount of energy and force required

The thermowood screw is used in outdoor areas for processing thermowood as a floor covering for terraces and balconies.
The user is responsible for design considerations.

When using the thermowood screw, we always recommend pre-drilling (even for thin wood dimensions).
Due to the increased dimensional stability of thermowood, smaller tolerances (e.g. smaller joint widths) are possible when using the thermowood screw.
In addition, the thermowood screw can be unscrewed without any problems, without damaging the component (wood).
