Wood/wood
Milling tip
The wood/wood adjusting screw is not suitable for use in floors.
The wood/wood adjusting screw is used especially for the distance mounting of timber constructions on wooden surfaces in the area of ceiling and wall panelling. With the help of the adjusting screw, the distance of the component (batten) from the surface can be adjusted individually and continuously by simply screwing the screw in and out.
1.) Like a standard chipboard screw or wood screw, the adjusting screw is screwed completely through the batten into the wood substrate.
Important:
The head of the adjusting screw is only sunk completely into the wood once the batten and the wood substrate are in contact without any gaps (it may be advisable to use spacer blocks for large distances).
2.) The fully screwed-in adjusting screw is adjusted to the desired distance by unscrewing it in an anti-clockwise direction. Readjustment is possible in any direction. When selecting the screw length, keep in mind that the thread must be fully screwed into the surface!
